A gift of art
to Seattle
A place to pause, explore, and find a little joy in the middle of downtown. The Coliseum of Art brings artists and neighbors together inside Seattle’s historic Coliseum at Pike Street and Fifth Avenue.
Our goal is to support local artists, share interesting installation work, and give people another reason to come downtown and take some time away from the everyday.
It’s completely free to the public. Come with friends, bring your family, or wander in on your own. Everyone is welcome.
Where we began
Summer of Awe
Summer of Awe was our first test of what this program could be: a historic building filled with surprising installations, light, glass, and room to explore. Thousands of visitors came through the exhibition, and we plan to do more.
